Rate limits & tiers
Every request counts against your key on a 60-second sliding window.
Every response carries X-RateLimit-Limit and X-RateLimit-Remaining; going over
returns 429 RATE_LIMIT_EXCEEDED with Retry-After.
| Tier | Requests | Concurrent jobs | How you get it |
|---|---|---|---|
free | 10 req/min | 3 jobs | New keys on accounts without a purchase |
pro | 30 req/min | 10 jobs | Automatic once your account has any completed purchase |
enterprise | 100 req/min | 50 jobs | Contact support@aiveed.io |
A key is created pro if the account already has a completed purchase; a free key
upgrades automatically on its next use after your first purchase. Dashboard (JWT) sessions are limited
per-user at 100 req/min. Check your live values at GET /v1/usage/limits.
Concurrency
Job-creating routes (/generate/*, /extend/video, /batch) reject a request
when your key already has its tier's max concurrent jobs in flight —
429 concurrency_limit_reached. Nothing is charged for a rejected request.
Free-tier limits
- One video on free credits: New accounts get up to 200 free credits. Until you buy credits, an account can make one video, of any model and options that fit within those credits, counted across the web app and the API. After that, generation returns
403 upgrade_requireduntil you buy credits. - Images are never free: every image model is charged at its catalogue price against your credit balance. The free allowances in the web app are a perk for its own users and do not apply to API calls.
- Batch requires a paid tier:
403 upgrade_requiredon free keys. A free account can only make one video, so there is nothing to batch. - When a free trial is exhausted, generation returns
403 upgrade_requiredwith apricing_url.
